1.How long have you been collecting?
I'm pretty sure I have been collecting (BJD's) since summer of 2008 ish!
2.What do you collect?
Currently I collect BJD's, Schleich horse figures, drawing supplies and art books, art prints I guess. xD
3.How many dolls do you have?
I have 2 SD's at home (Ameko and Kiseki), 1 SD incoming (Chihiro), 3 MSD's (Nereus, Aileen and Pearl), 3 tinies (Nox, Puchi and *nameless*), 1 mature yosd (Fae), 5 yosd's (Mali, Pax, Iseul, Ènnan, Jun), so 14 at home and one incoming, wow. xD
4.Which of your collections are you the most proud of? Why?
My dolls probably, although I'm also pretty proud of the art supplies and art prints I have hoarded so far, haha xD I have a collection of four LoZ fanprints that I bought 5 years ago that I simply adore <3
But the dolls take priority, and since I've costumized most of them myself that adds to the level of proudness :P
5.Which single doll cost you the most money? (Relatively and literally)
I think it has to be the newest one on the way, although Ameko was only a little less expensive xD Chihiro will come with a bit more of extra parts though, but regardless. :)
6.Which doll line is your favorite to collect and why?
Based on the amount of dolls I have, in a certain size I guess it'd be yosd's! They are cute and easy to transport around, although I haven't really felt the need to actually get one in a while, I think I prefer smaller sizes and down. Although I admire the details that can be added to an SD, so I'm definitely also happy about that size although it took some convincing to get back into. :P
7.What made you want to collect dolls?
I really liked how costumizable they are! I tried shelling characters already created once, but they always ended up changing, but the fact that characters can be created and eyes and wigs and what not can be changed was just so amazing to me. And now with so many diverse sculpts it's hard not to find something you really like :D
8.Which is your most wanted doll right now?
Feeple65 Siean, I have been wanting this doll for three years after I missed her being for sale at Fairyland, and .. yesterday I finally ordered her! Otherwise it might be a Lillycat Ninon or a DepthDoll Deilf (mermaid version) which I might try to hunt down in the coming year >w<
9.Which of your previously most wanted dolls do you have now?
Luts Tiny Delf Peter Elf Centaur ;w; I missed the first preorders for these babies, so when one popped up two years ago, I had to get it!
10.What is the most dolls you have gotten at once?
Uh, this one is kind of hard, because in the last two years I've been waiting for at least 3 dolls at the same time, however they were purchased and arrived spaced out from each other xD But like, there was a year where they were coming in in a steady flow, and now I only have one doll (+ the incoming one) left to paint, so that I'm proud of though, that I have been able to paint them within a year from getting them .. (Sad story of my Soom Minette who waited for a faceup for almost three or four years. I was the worst dolly owner)
11.Which is your least favorite doll?
Of my own dolls? I don't know, I really like all of the ones I have at home. >w<
12.Which of your dolls has the best story (in your life and in theirs?)
Ameko, probably, I have been a fan of MDR's dolls for a while, because I mean, look at them. Particularly Fang. But last year when I stumbled over them again, I had sort of sworn off SD sized dolls, because of prior experiences.. xD But them MDR released the Komorebi body and talked about releasing her Fang in this beaaaaaaaaautiful color. And it just clicked. The Komorebi body reminded me so much of my own that I mean.. I had to xD Obviously. It took like a month from the day I saw the preorder for me to justify it for myself, with some help from Nikki and my Boyfriend, but I remember I woke up super early on the preorder day and managed to snatch one just a few minutes after the opening of the preorder <3 I was so nervous! I had never tried to buy a quantity limited doll before!
But then Ameko was ordered and I was so nervous, what if I didn't like the size, and so many other what if's. But she arrived, and I don't think I have ever been happier with a doll purchase >w< Nikki and Maria were so lovely in encouraging and lending me clothes so she wouldn't be completely naked, and just ..yeah >w<
It was pretty darn awesome :D
In the doll universe I dunno, my characters do not really have set stories per se, so xD
13.What do you do with your dolls?
I play with them xD I'm not really good at remembering to take pictures of them, but sometimes I just grab a doll (recently mostly Ameko or Kiseki) and sit with them in my lap or on my desk just doing things, or doing nothing. :P
14.Are there any other collections that you want to start?
I am not sure XD I collect so many things already that I do not think it'd be a good idea.. I do sorta want to get a Ruruko doll though, but we'll see :P
15.Which of your dolls would you most like to be? Why?
Oh, I don't know xD As I said none of my dolls really have a set story or anything so.. xD
16.Do people know that you collect dolls/toys?
yep, I'm pretty open about my hobbies xD
17.Does your family support your collection?
I think they think the price tag is tooo over the top, and my mom certainly doesn't like me having so many, but eh, most of the time they just tease me a bit over them.
18.What was your first doll/toy collection that you can remember? Do you still have them?
Oh, I collected Barbie's, bratz, teddies, schleich, pokemon cards, comics .. xD I still have my entire manga collection, most of it at my parent's though, some schleich figurines too. At my apartment I have a couple of Schleich figures and my entire Pokémon card collection, and some teddies :P
19.Which doll started each of your collections?
I don't remember any of the dolls before the BJD's, but a Dream of Doll U was my first bjd :D
20.What is your favorite place to shop for dolls?
Nine9Style, TaoBao and Luts are the only places I have really shopped at for doll clothes and what not so xD

Hi, so, I've been tagged in this Liebster Award by Kurisu and Musume and I just want to say thanks a lot, to both of you! I'm so sorry that it has taken so long for me to get back in answering it, school has been beating me up!

1. What is the best thing that has ever happened to you because of this hobby?
I think meeting new people and starting to forge new friendships is definitely one of the things. A person who I know consider my best friend, was someone I met through this hobby. :) Besides that, it is all the creative aspects really <3 Learning new skills is fun!
2. Do you think this hobby has changed you as a person?
I don't really think so no xD
3. When did you start collecting, and what was your idea when you started (like limits of how many dolls, limits as to what to spend, maybe you only wanted dolls from a certain company)?
I started collecting around 2008 I think? I was still living at home, and my mom was pretty set on me only getting one of these expensive dolls, although I pretty quickly got a second one, agreeing with her that only TWO and then I should switch around in those I have if I wanted more... Not that it stayed liked that, though. *glances at doll collection* xD The companies that I knew of at the time were pretty limited to Luts, Dream of Doll, Doll-Zone and Dollmore, mostly. And then more things started showing up ahaha.
4. What are the main reasons why you are in this hobby?
Well, I've actually been inactive for a while, until a year ago, but so far I'm pretty sure I'm here for the people that I talk with, like Nikki, but also because I generally like to collect things, and I love playing with the dols, dressing them and what not, even if there doesn't always come pictures out from it. :)
5. Are there certain people/brands/etc. that inspires your collection?
I follow a LOT of people in this hobby, but I am always in awe of those who make wigs, outfits, faceups and generally props themselves. I think some of my biggest doll inspirations are probably Sicktress and MisMantisBJD on Tumblr, to keep the list short :D
6. Where do you store your doll-boxes?
It depends, some of the YoSD boxes are currently in my closet used as storage, but Nereus's Kid Delf box is in the basement, where Ameko's box will also be joining soon. I like keeping the boxes, you never know when you'll need it again. Besides, it's good for storage while moving.
7. How long did you wait on your dolls from they were paid off until you had them in your hands? Please mention the fastest and slowest!
I think the fastest was probably the CP Delf Chiwoo I had once, second-hand doll, that took a week or so to get here. The longest was definitely my Soom MD Hati, Mali, who took well around half a year to get here. Most other dolls have taken a while too, with layaway, but shipping has not taken that long :D
8. What is the most appealing feature in a dolls face?
Nose, lips <3 I like kissy lips on dolls, or full lips in general!
9. Do you have a no-go? F.ex. big noses, angry eyes, teeth showing, etc.
Well, sorta but still no? Too exaggerated is a bit too much for me, like some of Dollpam's faces for example. Besides that, I'm not really sure if I do have no-gos, my tastes in dolls are .. kinda broad. At least I like to think so.
10. If you could have any doll in the world, which do you desire most?
Oh wow, that would probably be a Dark Tan Ninon from Cerisedolls ;w; Or the Dreaming Ninon in Dark Tan whenever it comes out.
11. Do you have a preferred skin tone for your resin buddies?
I don't mind different skintones but the recent purchases show that I have a bias towards tan skins, currently :P I'd love to have a lot of different skintones though, for the sake of variety!

I have begun making faceups, sewing a bit and making wigs! I'm planning on trying out eye-making as soon as my mold get here :D

YES! My Luts Tiny Delf Peter Centaur is definitely one doll I never thought I would get, as I discovered them a year later than the preorder had been there, but I found one second-hand <3 And now I'm getting more tiny-taurs :P
3. Do you have a preference for any BJD size in particular?
I'll have to say YoSD's. Even if my collection by now is getting more varied with sizes, I can't ignore the fact that the doll-size I currently have the most of are Soomlings and a single Littlefee <3
4. Do you collect any other type of doll besides BJDs?
I have a couple of Monster High dolls, and a Disney Fairy doll that I bought mostly to steal the clothes for Fae ... I do however collect Schleich animals!
5. Have you ever "re-shelled" a character?
I've planned to, but that one character sorta never came back haha. Pax, my Soom Minette, will however be reshelled into a Tiny Delf Centaur one day <3 Maybe a Kai for the grumpy face :) My Minette would get another character, because I still very much like the doll <3
6. What calls your attention first: the head sculpts or the body sculpts?
Heads, definitely. Body afterwards. xD
7. Do you "research" the hobby? (find new releases, read reviews, find info about brands...)
Sometimes I do. If I set my mind on a doll I like to see if I can find owner pictures first, if it's a doll that's not limited/has been out for a while (*cough* We need more Withdoll Aiden's out there *cough*)
8. Do your dolls have a back story?
Some of them do. It's very loose, and mostly just so they can engage in each other's worlds no matter the size XD Ameko i.e. is meant to be a reincarnation of Amaterasu, the Goddess of the Sun in Japanese mythology, and thus she will be the main ruler of all in the doll realm xD Nereus hates this fact.
9. How do you take photos of your dolls: go outside, prepare a big setup, or just snap in any place?
I go outside or use my couch as background muahaha. I'm really bad at doing setups :P
10. Which is your main avenue to enjoy the hobby? Blogs, videos, forums, social sites?
All of the above xD I read on DOA, read blogs, watch timelapse face up paintings on youtube and I am in BJD groups on FB 8D;
11. Have you done doll cosplay?
Nope! And not planning to either

Happy New Years! 2016 Doll Plans and General Talk Here We Go!
I hope everyone came safely into 2016, and that you've enjoyed the Holday Season in general :D
So I already did an overview of how it went with the 2015 doll plans, but I haven't mentioned 2016's plans yet. They are going to be kinda humble, as I feel I wanna focus on the dolls I have home/on the way, and with a potential Japan trip incoming ... Yeah, money's needed to be saved up. I'll also speak a bit about non-doll related but more art related plans, and I hope that's okay. Let's go!
This year has beeon one hell of a rumble with dolls arriving and school trying to kill me and entering a draw-a-drawing a day challenge that has been ongoing since Inktober in October! So I've been pretty darn busy. xD
Anyway, I started out 2015 with the current doll collection:

(And DollZone BB Ani)
The first couple of weeks of 2015 were hell, as they had have my Kid Delf Kelp, Nereus, held back in customs since around the 20th december 2014!! But He arrived, and arrived well. <3 A month or so later, I recieved my Withdoll Aiden, Aileen, and actually managed to paint both of them! I fell over some small artists, like Heartstrung and Apodoll, and as you know, I ended up being able to put both their dolls (Heartstrung Ruse and Apodoll Melia) on layaaway, even after the preorder ended! After this I really really tried to play nice, but then MerryDollRound had their limited doll release, and I ended up getting a Caramel Fang (Ameko) who arrived on the 21st of December! I accidentally entered the ImplDoll giveaway, since I hadn't understood the rules properly, so suddenly I also had an SD head on the way! Wow XD And last but not least, just before Christmas, a DOA user posted two tinytaurs on DOA. I've been almost crying about missing out on the pretty blue and pink babies, and I was so lucky that they agreed on giving me a 5 month layaway. <3
I also finally got my Dollzone BB Ani sold, and bought some clothes, specially for Aileen! (She also got a wig and proper eyes!)
So with this I ended 2015 with the following collection (In order of Arrival):

My plans for this year will, as I said be pretty humble. I have a pretty set idea of which dolls are on my wishlist (although more tinytaurs could easily sneak in!). The current wishlist looks as following:
Twigling Oryx, preferably in a tan skin
Cerisedolls Dreaming Ninon
Cerisedolls Dreaming Millie Choupie
I will not deny the possibility of jumping the gun if more dolls show up that I feel I need but with my possibly incoming Japan trip, and paying off the two tinytaurs I'm hoping I won't feel the need to buy more dolls at the moment.
The plans themselves will pretty much be:
- Paint Ameko (MDR Fang), Pearl (Apodoll Melia), Mali (Soom Hati) and Jun (Littlefee Shiwoo) (Done, during the summer break)
- Repair Pearl's finger (I managed to break it ; w ;) (Nope)
- More clothes for everyone
- A set of shoes for Ameko and Pearl as they are currently missing (Done!)
- Get some fibers to make wigs for specially Ameko and Pearl
- Eventually make wigs for everyone in natural fiber as it just looks more natural
- Practice sewing
- Try making at least one set of eyes.
- Continue practicing with pictures.
Last but not least I also got some art-related goals for myself, and I hope you do not mind me sharing them here as well!
Art goals of 2016:
- Continue and finish the A Drawing A Day challenge! Either I'll finish it on the 31st of December or the 1st of October when I started Inktober in 2015, what do you guys think? (Finished in June)
- Get a total of 20 admirers on my Etsy shop.
- Get one sale on my Etsy shop (done!)
- Upload stock once a week, after I get my new Printer and Scanner (Nope)
- Get 2 commissions outside of conventions (Done!)
- Rebranding of what I want to sell
- Get artbooks printed
- Order Merchandise in General for Cons and Etsy
- Get 100 followers on Facebook and Instagram (Done!)

- Order Merchandise in General for Cons and Etsy
- Get 100 followers on Facebook and Instagram (Done!)
